Title: PCP Jacket
Post by: thunderdome on December 13, 2006, 03:58:28 AM
Hello!
I have got an old (1993-94 I think) PCP jacket in great condition. Even smells good. :P
It's dark blue, says :

"PCP
Planet Core Productions
Frankfurt"

in white letters in the back, and has some more prints (like that E...neee logo).
Got it from a german fan, along with other stuff from that period (non pcp).

I prefer to trade it for items I miss, I would specially enjoy a Mescalinum United shirt for example.
Well, anyone interessed, contact me, I still need to do some decent photos of it.

Think so too.
For example the E..?Nee! logo is not professionally stiched and seems to be a drawing by a marker or sometihng.

If it's a "bootleg" (that term is for live sets), it's a good one.
I know it's from 1993-94, the person who sold me the jacket told me that.

If it's official, it must have a label in or on the jacket. Can you check if it has a label and if so, what brand it is?

What do you mean? The label says PCP (that big white one).
Or do you mean the original brand of the jacket?

Well, all official PCP merchandise (as far as I know) has a label on it or in the collar. And it seems it is missing in the jacket. Looks like someone made this jacket himself in 93/94. Or did he tell you more about it? Where did he buy it for example?

Frankfurt I think.

maybe it was a one-off made for a special live set or something, I don't think this would have been sold commercially

Wish I had a time machine...  :(
Anyway, I was thinking of keeping it, but I know you are all fans and have much more PCP stuff than me. I would prefer a trade for stuff I miss...

Thanks for the info. Then it's a bootleg made by someone in 1993.
With some many "stamps" the guy must have paid a lot to make this jacket, ehehhe....
