I got a few packages today from the post(wo)man and one of them was the PCP Phuture compilation (2x12")

At the back at the tracklisting at the tracks Lightbringer and Symphonies of Steel Pt. 1 it says
"taken from -A New level Chapter 2- limited edition picture disk"

Is the red vinyl PCP 936 with these 2 tracks that limited edition "picture disk",
or was there ever released a real picture disk with pictures like for example this one

So the "picture disk" they talk about on the cover is the red coloured vinyl and nothing else.

Yes I think so
I have only seen red transparent and completely black versions of PCP936

I should have known that because even on Discogs there is no such mention of a picture disk,
but perhaps could have been released on a different label

I think there are 2 options.
one: PCP had plans to release it as a Picture Disc, but for some reason it was changed to coloured vinyl (If you check the CD version of that record (PCP 194) you see for example that the Dusty Angel track was going to be released as Mechanic 001 instead of Metallic 001)
two: Someone confused a coloured vinyl with a Picture Disc (or thought it was the same)

don't trust on discogs too much
a lot of mistakes there
For all other releases that are not PCP related...it's allright
