the old pcp site
« on: July 22, 2011, 07:59:25 PM »
hi,
anyone remembers that PCP website, that was online somewhen after 2000?
it had a huge collection of pcp record artwork, interviews, flyers, etc.

no, it wasnt this site ;-)
it had a clickable timeline on the site, so you could see what stuff pcp had done in 1991 for example and select the interviews, record art by the records, etc, that were done then.

it had some interviews that are not on this site here, so i wonder if anyone saved some of the stuff that was on that site.

Interesting... only I can't remember anything. Maybe just before the time I found out about PCP.
I know this site is from late 2001/early 2002. Before that there was also the Russian site:
http://planetcorefan.chat.ru

And ofcourse the PCD site at:
http://c8.com/c8/archive/ (and I think later as planetcoredistribution.com ...)
- I'm a digitally controlled oscillator, trapped in a matrix modulation system -

yes it was a somewhat mysterious site, because if i recall correctly, noone knew who ran it or who had put it up.
someone from the pcp crew had to be involved though, cuz lots of stuff that only they could have had was online there (like promotional stuff they sent out, etc).

Yeah, that was the first website (or one of the first versions) from Acardipane Records. It had that timeline and you could scroll left or right.

You might be able to revive some of it with the wayback machine, but I think you need the original url to do it.
