Sad to see how much Projects did not make it to see the light of day.

True Words. But more worse then missing the Stuff we did not know at this time or even not now is the fact, that there is a lot of unreleased stuff.
Maybe its crap and good that it is not released, but i hardly doubt that. Especially with the PCP-Theme: A lot of Stuff propably didnt sold good in the mid and early ninites, when tons of it where released, but now we have some kind of pcp-avantgarde-hype so maybe the best time to release stuff.
Everytime i read interviews or old postings by marc i wonder what has happened to a lot of planed amazing projects.

Hopefully. But who knows if all this stuff still exist?
I mean if i would own a label and decide not to release a number, why to keep it? And even if: We all know it: how often does computer crash and all get lost...or even if its burned somewhere on cd or dvd.... there are hundreds of it around. somewhere.
but i dont know what will come , if something will come. maybe we should start a pedition!

see this topic: http://www.planet-core.com/index.php?topic=455.0

"some years ago marc announced on this board a planned PCP DVD, with all the existing pcp video footage, and plenty of unrelased tracks from the PCP era..."

that was around 2003-ish so if he had the unreleased tracks till then, i dont think(hope) they got lost later.
maybe the petition is a good idea  :)

I dont think that Marc would lose these tracks, he has a label with records called Lost and these were all released  ;D

Would be strange to hear old-style PCP stuff 10-15 years later then that they were made, and I bet that it would still sound up-2-date!

I think in that time everything was recorded on DAT. But they still can be lost ofcourse ;)

I know there was also a Mover cd planned on R&S records (called total sickness?) Don't know if it where brand new tracks.
And a recent case, anyone remembering the Remember The Phuture picture disc? :)

I dont think that Marc would lose these tracks, he has a label with records called Lost and these were all released  ;D

That struck my attention as well. But I guess that was very similar to their Gasometertrax material (released the same year as the interview was conducted in) - if it even weren't these same tracks actually.
These are unlike their previous stuff, lacking persiflage 'n chipmunks, quite dark, industrial-esque giant-hall-sound, bold shouts... does very well fit PCP. Enough so that Marc put one track on Slaves to the Rave 2.
